The children had to show organisation and independence by packing and making their own packed lunch in the morning. The afternoon saw them enjoying a range of forest school activities including clay modelling, leaf printing, teamwork challenges and of course making s’mores on the campfire! We walked along the stunning Gruda and continued our learning on the history of our local area and our school! We listened to stories about the old school, the night of fire and Mrs Edith Willis. We enjoyed making puppets and props, including gulls out of milk bottles, which we used as part of our whole school performance! Thank you to Mike Shepherd and his team for their inspiration and sensational storytelling!
Watch this space for photos of this Cornish celebration!

We invited in our families to share Cornish tales and recipes! We would to thank one of our parents, Emma May for her help in organising this project and to the The Cornish Pasty Association for funding the Ingredients! Big thanks also go to Cornish Premier Pasties and Rowe’s Cornish Bakers for the preparation of the high quality ingredients that made it really quick and easy for the children, as well as so tasty! I can confirm that not many pasties actually reached home as devoured not long after they were cooked! Ansome! 🥰

News Flash

To help protect children's privacy and online safety, we will no longer be posting photos that clearly show children's faces. Instead, we may share images that capture activities, achievements, and special moments in other ways, such as photos taken from behind, close-ups of hands creating artwork, or group shots where faces are not visible.
This change reflects our ongoing commitment to safeguarding the children in our care while still celebrating the wonderful experiences they enjoy with us.
We understand that many families enjoy seeing updates and photos, and we will continue to share the exciting things your children are doing in ways that respect their privacy and keep them safe.
