Zebra Class visited Castle an Dinas this week, Cor Zebra Class visited Castle an Dinas this week, Cornwall’s best preserved Iron Age hill fort!
They were guided by Caroline, one of the experts from Cornwall Heritage Trust who manage the site. She brought the hill fort to life, explaining what all the lumps and bumps really were, and how they site may have looked thousands of years ago.
After our tour, we were able to handle and discuss some recreation of Iron and Bronze Age artefacts, before being shown some remarkable finds that had been discovered on the site and in the local area.

Many thanks to all the parents and staff who came along to help and drive on our trip, to Caroline for being wonderful and captivatingly guiding us through thousands of years of history and to Cornwall Heritage Trust who enabled us to visit and enhance our learning free of charge!

News Flash

To help protect children's privacy and online safety, we will no longer be posting photos that clearly show children's faces. Instead, we may share images that capture activities, achievements, and special moments in other ways, such as photos taken from behind, close-ups of hands creating artwork, or group shots where faces are not visible.
This change reflects our ongoing commitment to safeguarding the children in our care while still celebrating the wonderful experiences they enjoy with us.
We understand that many families enjoy seeing updates and photos, and we will continue to share the exciting things your children are doing in ways that respect their privacy and keep them safe.
